Magatama seed beads are available in three sizes – 4mm Magatama (MA4), 3mm Magatama (MA3) as well as the 4 x 7mm Long Magatama (LMA). Traditionally Magatama beads were comma shaped beads or jewels made in prehistoric Japan from clay or stone. Magatama glass seed beads are great for adding texture in kumihimo, fringe, or in off-loom bead weaving.
