Miyuki long drop beads are shaped like grains of rice with the hole at one end of the bead. They can be used in place of daggers or smaller drops, in beaded beads or bead-embroidery. When combined with other sizes of drops or magatamas, the long drops add texture to strung jewelry or to fringe.
